--- Congratulations to Kelsie Wilson! Kelsie showed her determination and fighting spirit during the play of the State Tournament on May 2 & 3 at Lake Hefner Golf Course. After a disappointing opening nine of 50 in the 36 hole tournament, she followed with a 41; then added an 81 the second day which earned her a 7th place finish in the 4A State Tournament. With winds of up to 45 mph on Wednesday, the scores soared, making keeping your cool and your patience a must!

--- Boys ready for the State Tournament at Lake Hefner South next Monday, Tuesday. Leading the team will be a toss between junior Joby Gray and senior Keegan Hall, who has accepted a scholarship at the University of Central Oklahoma.

--- Member Guest coming up on May 12. If you, member or guest, would like to play but do not have a partner, call the pro-shop and we'll get you hooked up. The tournament will be at 1:00 p.m. (shotgun start). Format is Scramble for 18 holes. The tournament will be flighted. Entry Fee is $120.00 per team and it includes dinner/dance with music by Trade Price. Non players pay $15.00 for the dinner/dance.

--- Course will close at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 5th, due to the Great Plains National Bank Golf Outing starting at 1:00 p.m.!!

--- Doug Tewell, OSU alumni, former Tour Player, member of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Sports Hall of Fame, winner of 4 PGA Tour events and 8 Senior Tour events, including the Senior PGA, will host a Junior Golf Clinic in June at Elk City Golf & Country Club. Coming with him will be Pat Bates, former Nation Wide Tour player and other OSU Alumni. Date is still pending, and we will keep you informed. --- Tuesday Night Men's Scramble has resumed. Nine hole scramble starts at 6:00 p.m. sharp every Tuesday. Competition and camaraderie is abundant. Come an join other men once, and you will want to come back again and again! FYI: all seniors 70 and older, play the red tees.
