Elk City Girls Team Kelsi Wilson missing... for now only! |
The Elk City High School Girls team hosted their annual event on Monday the 11th. The girls finished 4th among the bigger schools and 6th overall. Kelsi Wilson was low for the locals with a 95.
The team is young and are yet to develop a consistent game, but, by the weekly attendance we'v eseen, we know they are hard workers and will soon improve. No matter what, we are proud of you young ladies! Low team was Hinton, with a 340. Hinton was led by Maci Arrington who also shot the best individual score of the tournament, a nice 78.
Greg Dodson's chipping excited partner! |
The Tuesday Men's Scramble resumed for the 2011 season with 35 palyers in 8 teams. Low score of 28, belonged o the team of: Brandon Thomas, Jim Gilmore, Brett Hutson, Mike Cowan & Terry Nichols; . A stroke behind, were Craig Martin, Eric Little, Cary Cummiford, Jeff Smoot & Charlie Kauk. Since the winning team did not win by two shots, the pot will carry over to Tuesday May 19th, where you only need to win by one stroke (every time a pot starts, the winning team has to do so by two shots)....
